Bio: My name is Victor Sassano, and I’m the creator and host of Lightning Bolts and Leather Jackets. I started this podcast because I grew up in the church, and have seen a lot of people come and go due to either social issues or the way Christians have handled them. With all the loud voices on the Internet, it felt like the Church had not taken the initiative to speak truth while also offering answers to questions that caused people to either lose faith, or not give it a chance at all. This includes science, the problem of evil, racism and sexism, etc. I believe the Bible speaks on all these things in a way that would surprise many critics and Christians alike, and decided to speak up in hopes that it could inspire someone.
Podcast Description: A podcast that covers topics that Christians and non-Christians both struggle with grasping, such as the problem of evil, social injustices, etc. Most Christians don’t know what to say or do, and a lot of people have left their beliefs because of that (or not given it a chance), so we’re endeavoring to talk about the real issues. We also have some less heavy episodes, such as the introductory ones and the newest one coming out this Tuesday.
